About Reiki and your wellbeing

Reiki is a complementary healing practice. It is not a medical treatment. It does not diagnose, prevent, treat, or cure any medical or psychological condition.

If you are under medical care, please continue it. If a session surfaces something that warrants medical or psychological attention, Shefali will say so directly. Reiki sits alongside medical and therapeutic care — never in place of it.

Sessions are confidential. Anything you share before, during, or after a session stays between you and Shefali.

What information we keep

When you book a session, fill the contact form, or join a waitlist, we collect:

• Your name and email address
• Optionally your phone number, if you provide it
• Anything you write in the message or intake field
• Your booking history (which sessions you've had with us)

What we do with it

We use this information only to:

• Reply to your message
• Confirm and remember your bookings
• Hold session notes that help us prepare for your next visit
• Send you the email you asked for, if you joined a waitlist

What we don't do

We don't:

• Share or sell your contact details to anyone outside the services listed below
• Run marketing campaigns or general newsletters
• Use your information for anything other than what you contacted us about and the messaging described below

Cookies, local storage, and tracking

This site stores two small browser preferences locally for your comfort: your dark/light theme choice and whether you've turned on the ambient sound. Both stay on your device.

The site also loads AIQUA, a customer-engagement tool from Appier. AIQUA helps us understand which pages new visitors find useful, remember you between visits, and (if you opt in) send occasional web-push notifications about gatherings or new sessions. AIQUA's handling of your data is governed by Appier's privacy policy.

The site is fronted by Cloudflare, which provides our content-delivery network and DDoS protection. Cloudflare's Web Analytics beacon is loaded on every page; it measures coarse performance and traffic metrics (page load time, visit counts, country-level location) without setting tracking cookies. Cloudflare's handling of this data is governed by Cloudflare's privacy policy.

On the technical side: we operate a strict allowlist of which JavaScript can run on this site (the third-party services listed above and nothing else). The endpoints those scripts subsequently call are not separately restricted, because the ecosystems they belong to use many regional and product-specific hosts that change over time. We rely on the script allowlist as the primary control.

You can clear all locally-stored data at any time using your browser's site-data controls. If you'd rather we remove anything we hold about you, email us at the address below.

You can ask at any time to:

• See what we have on file about you
• Correct anything that's wrong
• Have your records deleted

Third-party services

Where we use external services, they are minimal:

• Hosting — the site is served by Netlify (a static-site host). Standard server logs apply.
• CDN and edge analytics — the site is proxied through Cloudflare for delivery, caching, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare's Web Analytics beacon collects coarse, cookie-less performance and traffic data. See the Cookies section above.
• Forms — messages from the contact form are processed by Netlify Forms and emailed to Shefali.
• Booking calendar — powered by Cal.com. Their privacy policy applies to the booking step.
• Customer engagement — AIQUA (Appier) handles visitor analytics and, with your permission, web-push notifications. See the Cookies section above.
• Marketplaces — if you book through Klook (or similar), their terms and data handling apply to the booking step. Anahata only receives the contact details needed to deliver the session.

Changes to this page

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and date the changes. Material changes are mentioned to anyone actively booked at the time.
